Kyiv, July 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has submitted to the parliament for reconsideration, with his remarks, a law amending the Economic Procedural Code of Ukraine on defining the jurisdiction of matters of land relations, the presidential press service has said.

The law, approved by the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, on June 25, 2009, proposes that economic courts be in charge of cases on disputes on land relations involving business entities. The document also foresees that disputes regarding land relations involving business entities are viewed by local economic courts, taking into consideration the location of the land.

Yuschenko said that determining all of the matters of the disputes mentioned above as being within the jurisdiction of economic courts worsens the position of a plaintiff in the deal of the illegality of the decisions, actions or inactivity of the authorities regarding land.
