Kyiv, August 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Wagon loading on the railways of Ukraine in July 2009 fell by 24.3% year-on-year, to 915,000 tonnes per day, according to a press release of State Railways Administration Ukrzaliznytsia.

The average daily wagon-unloading indicator in the period came to 14,000 wagons.

The cargo wagon turnaround last month was 2.9 days.

The average daily run of a locomotive in July was estimated at 454 kilometers, the daily output stood at 1.271 million tonne-kilometers in gross and the average speed was 43.9 kilometers per hour.
