Kyiv, July 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – OJSC Ukrtransleasing in January to June 2009 increased its net profit by 84.2% year-over-year, to UAH 17.35 million.

According to a company financial report at the State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market, its net income over the period soared by 25.4%, to UAH 145.868 million, while its operating profit fell by 7.9%, to UAH 9.309 million.

In Q2, 2009, Ukrtransleasing almost doubled its net profit year-over-year, to UAH 11 million, and its net income shrank by 3.1%, to UAH 72.155 million. Its operating profit fell by 11.8%, to UAH 6.54 million.

OJSC Ukrtransleasing was established in 1998 at the initiative of transport ministry and industry ministry of Ukraine. The company provides leasing services to interested organizations in the aviation and railway transport sectors of Ukraine.
