Kyiv, July 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The net profit of Ukrspetstransgaz (Dolyna, Ivano-Frankivsk region) in January to June 2009, according to Ukrainian accounting standards, fell by seven times compared to 2008, to UAH 377,000, according to the company.

The company's net income over the six months fell by 6.9%, to UAH 64.657 million, and its total profit dropped by 38.1%, to UAH 6.644 million.

The net profit of Ukrspetstransgaz in April-June 2009 dropped by six times year-on-year, to UAH 225,000, its net income by 24%, to UAH 31.552 million, and its total profit by 50.7%, to UAH 2.941 million.

Ukrspetstransgaz in the second quarter of 2009 decreased liquefied gas transportation by 1.6 times, to 80,100 tonnes.

Ukrspetstransgaz provides services in the transportation of liquefied gas and light hydrocarbon materials by rail, and repairs and technical servicing of special wagons.

National JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy owns 100% of Ukrspetstransgaz.
