Kyiv, August 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine again permitted Denmark to import pork and pigs, as sick animals in the state are not registered and the epidemic situation in the country regarding hog cholera has stabilized.

A press release of the state committee for veterinary medicine of Ukraine, other goods, which should be checked by the committee, should be imported in line with requirements to the import of such goods.

As reported, Ukraine had banned pork and pig imports from Lithuania, as cases of hog cholera brought from Denmark were registered in the country, and suspended pig imports from Denmark.
