Kyiv, July 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The Ukrainian Construction Association (UCA) plans to sign a memorandum on cooperation and the mutual provision of aid with the Lithuanian Confederation of Builders, reads a press release of the UCA.

The report says that the decision was made at a meeting of the vice president of the Lithuanian Confederation of Builders, Juozas Magelinskas, and UCA CEO Serhiy Hrabar.

The sides also discussed the possibility of representatives of Lithuanian construction companies entering the UCA to widen cooperation between Ukraine and Lithuania. They also agreed on cooperation in the legal sphere, which would start with carrying out a comparative analysis of the laws in the construction sector of the two countries.

In addition, the UCA would study experience of cooperation of the Lithuanian Confederation of Builders with state bodies as well as the transfer of some state functions to the association.

The Lithuanian Confederation of Builders was established 15 years ago and unites 176 companies and organizations.

The UCA was created in May 2005 and unites over 250 companies.
