Kyiv, August 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Tax bodies over-fulfilled the tax collection target in January to July by 0.5%, and in July along – by 2%, the press service of the State Tax Administration of Ukraine (STAU) has reported, referring to tentative data.

The press release says that in January to July UAH 59.272 billion was sent to the national budget.

"In July UAH 8.675 billion or 102% of the target was sent to the national budget, including UAH 7.762 billion o the general fund or 102.5% of the target, which is 539.5 million up year-over-year," reads the report.

The administration said that VAT of UAH 3.378 billion was reimbursed to taxpayers in July.

As reported, the experts of the presidential secretariat repeatedly said that the over-fulfillment of tax collection targets is linked to the trimming of targets, increasing of back VAT and payments of taxes in advance.
