Kyiv, July 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The State Property Fund of Ukraine has stopped the sale of OJSC Biofarma (Kyiv) executing an order of Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko.

According to an SPF order of July 8, Tymoshenko said the sale had to be halted in order to check on the privatization conditions of the state property of the integrated property complex of Biofarma.

The net assets of Biofarma as of late 2008 were UAH 199.6 million. Its statutory capital was UAH 205.34 million. Last year the company earned UAH 80,000 in "other operational revenues." Biofarma in 2008 saw a net loss of UAH 3.23 million.

In the first half of 2009 Biofarma saw a net income of UAH 87.68 million and a net profit of UAH 4.15 million. The company attracted long-term credits from banks worth a total of UAH 27.9 million.
