Kyiv, August 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Average rent rates for one-, two- and three-room apartments in Kyiv from July 1 to August 1, 2009, grew by 3.3%, to an average indicator of $440, Kyiv-based SV Development consulting company has told Interfax-Ukraine. The change in the average prices was calculated on the basis of actual housing rent deals in Kyiv. According to the company, Darnytsky District remained the cheapest in average rent rates, where rent rates for one-room apartments over the period went up by 0.36%, to $246 per month, two-room apartments by 5.96%, to $358 per month, and three-room apartments by 3.86%, to $453 per month. Pechersky District is the most expensive, where rent rates of one-room apartments over the period grew by 6.34%, to $442 per month, rent rates in two-room apartments climbed by 4.06%, to $630 per month, and three-room apartments by 3.84%, to $751 per month. According to SV Development, the largest number of apartments was offered for the period under review in Shevchenkivsky district (17%), and the smallest number in Podilsky district (6%). SV Development has been operating on the Ukrainian market since 2005 in the segment of consulting on the market of out-of-town real estate and housing estates.
