Kyiv, August 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Pleso municipal company still has not issued any sanitary certificates to Kyiv's beaches, Executive Head of Kyiv City State Administration Anatoliy Holubchenko told the press on Friday.

He said that company's Head Ihor Smykun had been disciplined.

Earlier at a press conference, Smykun said that Pleso had made great efforts to prepare12 of Kyiv's beaches for the summer season.

On the other hand, some 55 people, including four children, have drowned in Kyiv waters since the beginning of the beach season this year. Last year, the total number of people drowning in Kyiv was 130.
