Kyiv, July 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The net losses of Kyiv-based Nadra Bank in January to June 2009 came to UAH 1.041 billion, while year-over-year its net profit stood at UAH 56.587 million, the bank has reported in the mass media. In Q2, 2009, its net losses were estimated at UAH 483.36 million (in Q1, 2009 its net losses were UAH 57.535 million), while year-over-year its net profit stood at UAH 28.747 million. The bank's total assets in H1, 2009 shrank by 13.9%, to UAH 26.293 billion, while its total commitments went down by 11.2%, to UAH 25.495 billion. Its statutory capital remained unchanged at UAH 290.363 million. Nadra Bank was founded in 1993. By the beginning of April 2009 its largest stockholders were Novartik Trading Limited with 60.9967% and Manmade Enterprises Limited with 30.7406% (both – Cyprus-based). According to information of its temporary
administrator, Valentyna Zhukovska, a 51% stake in Nadra Bank is used as a
collateral for the credit worth some $60 million issued to the bank in 2007.
The term of paying the credit has arrived. If the bank did not pay on the
credit, the bank's shares would be moved to ownership of the creditor. The
