Kyiv, August 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kyivmiskbud holding company (Kyiv) is not planning to change its price policy and will keep the average price per square meter in houses it constructs at the level of UAH 8,000-8,500, Kyivmiskbud (Kyiv) President Petro Shyliuk told journalists in Kyiv on Thursday. "We're not changing our prices, [to support] internal reserves, seeking new technologies, [and] implementing innovation projects. The average price per square meter is currently UAH 8,000-8,500. There are lower and higher prices charged depending on the project, and its [terms of] completion," he said. Shyliuk said the company is not planning to reduce prices even if the situation on the housing sales market worsens. "The company's prices are unlikely to fall even if the situation worsens. There are no preconditions for housing prices to fall," he said. Kyivmiskbud was founded on the basis of the state municipal construction company Kyivmiskbud in 1994 through the merger of 28 daughter companies and other assets. The Kyiv territorial community owns an 80% stake in the company. The company plans in 2009 to get a profit of UAH 11.5 million, which is 53.9% down on the 2008 indicator, and a total income of UAH 1.898 billion. The statutory fund of Kyivmiskbud as of late 2008 was UAH 16.535 million. | |
