Kredytprombank, one of Ukraine's biggest banks, on March 6 decided to issue two-year registered passive bonds to the tune of UAH 200 million.

This follows from a bank's statement.

«The placement was private,» the statement reads.

The face value is UAH 1,000 per stock.

The bank intends to start the placement in March.

The exact date of the sales start and the securities yield are not to be disclosed.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, at present, the bank's C-series bonds worth UAH 50 million and D-series bonds worth UAH 50 million are in circulation.

Kredytprombank's net assets were valued at UAH 7,117.6 million as of January 1, 2007, when its loan portfolio amounted to UAH 4,798.8 million and the capital to UAH 652.4 million.

The bank finished 2006 with a net profit of UAH 56,898 million.

As of January 1, 2007, the bank's shareholders were Homertron Trading limited (Ireland) with 49.9% of the shares in the bank and Greek citizen Konstantinos Papunidis (chairman of the bank's supervisory board) with 20.12%.
