Kyiv, August 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Agrotrade, a large regional group based in Kharkiv, is to be permitted to acquire Zlahoda Ltd. (in the village of Kurin) and Prokhorske (in the village of Prokhory, both in Chernihiv region), which cultivate grain and oil-bearing crops, according to the AMC. The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMC) permitted the group to buy over 50% in the agricultural enterprises. Currently the enterprises of the group, which was created in 1998, are located in five regions of Ukraine: Kharkiv, Luhansk, Poltava, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions. In particular, the group includes 12 elevator enterprises and five agricultural enterprises. The total number of employees is about 2,000 persons. The group's top managers and its co-owners are Vsevolod Kozhemiako and Mykola Hrynchenko. | |
