Kyiv, August 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – ING Life Ukraine insurance company (Kyiv) has announced it is to wind up its operations and close, according to a statement in the Uriadovy Kurier newspaper of August 5.

According to the statement, creditors may make claims within two months from the date the statement is published. The creditors' demands should be in a written form and submitted to the company within the term mentioned.

ING Life Ukraine was registered in 2004. Its core business is life insurance.

As of July 2008, its owner was ING Continental Europe H-gs B.V (the Netherlands), which holds a 99.99% stake in the company, according to the State Commission on Securities and the Stock Market.
