Kyiv, August 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Industrial producers' prices in Ukraine in July were 0.7% up, the State Statistics Committee has reported.

Prices have increased by 4.9% since the beginning of the year, reads the report.

According to the report, the mining industry's products in July wend down in price by 0.9% (by 4.1% since the start of the year), whereas prices in the processing industry grew by 0.4% (by 6.4%).

Rates rose by 2.6% in July in such sectors as electricity generation and distribution, gas distribution and the water supply (by 2.9% since the beginning of the year). Power rates alone were 3% up, while those of heat supply did not change.

Prices in industry in July 2009 declined b y 3.7% year-over-year, reads the report.

As reported, producers' prices in July 2008 increased by 3.6%, whereas January through July 2008 Ukraine saw a 34.1% increase in them.
