Kyiv, August 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has allocated UAH 35 million to the Family, Youth and Sports Ministry to reconstruct the buildings, facilities and technical networks of the Artek international children's center.

A respective government resolution of August 5 has been posted on the official Web site of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The document says that the funds should be used to buy equipment and vehicles, in particular, ambulances for Artek.

The Artek international children's center was opened on June 16, 1925. Its creation was first announced on November 5, 1924.
