Kyiv, July 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Kharkiv-based joint Ukrainian-U.S. Europol Company, which owns the Rost chain of three supermarkets in Kharkiv, in January to June 2009 increased its net profit by 5.9 times year-over-year, to UAH 5.106 million. The company reported in a release at the State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market, that its net income from sales in H1, 2009 soared by 6.1%, to UAH 96.736 million. In Q2, 2009, its net profit skyrocketed by 3.7 times, to UAH 2.615 million, and its net income from sales grew by 2.9%, to UAH 49.174 million. Europol Company was set up in 2000. The company owns the Rost chain of supermarkets in Kharkiv. Its statutory fund is UAH 1.5 million. | |
