Kyiv, July 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Donetsk-based DTEK Ltd. has built up an 11.4513% stake in Lviv-based OJSC Zakhidenergo.

The company reported the acquisition of the shares at the State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market, referring to data from the stake depositary - CJSC Dongorbank dated June 17, 2009.

The state in the person of National JSC Energy Company of Ukraine owns a 70.1034% stake in Zakhidenergo.

DTEK's leadership said earlier that its entry the European electricity export market is a strategic goal of the company
