One of the Ukrainian small-sized banks Kyiv-based Delta Bank, which specializes in consumer insurance, has made a decision to issue bonds worth UAH 500 million.

The bank disclosed this in a statement.

Relevant decision was made by the supervisory board of the financial institution on March 6, 2007.

«Registered internets bonds with limited maturity, 500,000 bonds with the face value of UAH 500 million. Private placing. Non-documentary form,» the report reads.

The bank does not disclose any other information.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, at the end of 2006, Delta bank sold bonds for UAH 300 million with the maturity of one year.

The issue became the fifth for Delta Bank in 2006.

Be the end of 2006, total bond issue of the bank was about UAH 800 million.

In 2007, Delta Bank plans to attract foreign loans worth USD 250-300 million.

As of January 1, 2007, Delta Bank net assets were valued at UAH 1,512.8 million; credit portfolio - at UAH 1,121.4 million and the capital - at UAH 363.58 million.

The bank ended 2006 with a net profit of UAH 3.576 million.

The Delta Bank is registered as a limited liability company.
