10:11 COURT DECLARES CHYSTI METALY PLANT BANKRUPT | |
Kyiv, July 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Kirovohrad Regional Economic Court has declared OJSC Chysti Metaly plant (Pure Metals plant, Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad region) bankrupt and started liquidation procedures, according to a statement in the Uriadovy Kurier newspaper. The court made the ruling on May 12. According to the ruling, the liquidation procedure will last until April 12, 2010. The court-appointed manager, Valentyn Martynko from Bila Tserkva (Kyiv region), has been appointed liquidator. As reported, in 2007 the enterprise saw its net loss rise by almost nine times, to UAH 4.44 million, while its net income fell by 57.4%, to UAH 15.74 million. The plant has not announced results for 2008. OJSC Chysti Metaly plant produces mercury, gallium arsenide, silicon, and arsenic. | |
