Kyiv, July 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has appointed independent expert Hanna Yaroshenko as the new temporary administrator at Lutsk-based Zakhidinkombank.

The decision is sealed in NBU resolution No. 442 dated July 23, 2009, the NBU said in an official statement.

The authorities of the former temporary administrator, Valentyna Maliutina, were withdrawn.

As was reported, the central bank imposed the temporary administration at the bank on February 12, 2009.

Zakhidinkombank was founded in 1993. Among its largest stockholder as of April 1, 2009 was Vasyl Havrylyshyn with 89.81%.

The bank ranked 82nd as of April 1, 2009, among 182 operating banks in terms of overall assets estimated at UAH 1.021 billion, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
