Kyiv, July 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian government has proposed to consider as insider information only non-published reports on those issuers who have carried out public offerings or whose securities are on exchange lists, while at present the definition of insider information covers all issuers. A draft law on the subject was recently registered in parliament, reads a posting on the cabinet's Web site. The cabinet proposes to stipulate the requirement on the publishing of insider information via its placement in the database of the State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market and its publishing in one of the official publications of parliament, cabinet or State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market. In addition, the draft expands the requirement on the registration of the insider market. They would be obliged to keep an insiders database.
