Kyiv, August 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market in H1, 2009 registered 121 issues of bonds worth UAH 3.54 billion, while year-over-year the commission registered 478 issues of bonds worth UAH 20.02 billion.

The commission told Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday that compared to the previous years, no bank or insurance companies registered an issue of bonds.

The largest issues of H1, 2009 were issues of OJSC Troyanda Farm worth UAH 305.73 million, OJSC Ukrtelecom – three issues worth UAH 300 million, OJSC Pavlohradvuhillia – two issues worth UAH 275 million, Rusinia Ltd. – UAH 200 million, Consulting Bloc Ltd. and Rodovid Company – UAH 100 million each.

In addition, over the period under review, the commission registered one issue of municipal bonds of Lviv worth UAH 300 million compared to six issues in H1, 2008 worth UAH 29 million.

The commission said that in May to June the number of companies registered the issue of bonds fell to three or four companies.

As reported, in 2008 the State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market registered 774 issues of bonds by companies and banks worth UAH 28.45 billion and 15 issues of municipal bonds worth UAH 974 million.
