Kyiv, August 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kremenchuk Truck Plant, the head company of AvtoKrAZ Holding (Kremenchuk in Poltava region), resumed operations on Monday, and started work to meet its August target, the holding's press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.

The press service did not disclose the number of trucks to be produced in August. On August 4, Tokmak Forge Plant resumed its operation.

AvtoKrAZ holding company is the only heavy-duty truck producer in Ukraine.

AvtoKrAZ makes 28 basic models, and more than 260 modifications and trim levels of civilian and military vehicles. The company's automobiles are in use in more than 60 countries.

AvtoKrAZ decreased production by 13% to 3,634 vehicles in 2008 as output plunged in the fourth quarter due to the financial crisis.
