Kyiv, August 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) - No one was hurt, when blasts went off early on August 1 in the courtyard of the house in Dnipropetrovsk region, where ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih's Chief Production Officer Vladimir Sheremet resides with his family, the company reported on Monday. In the wake of the blasts, the company management sent a letter to Ukraine's interior minister, Security Service head and Dnipropetrovsk region governor, urging them "to protect the life and guarantee the security of the of the company personnel." The incident is under investigation. It was a second attempt to have been made on the lives of ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih executives. The company's Social Affairs Manager Oleksandr Zozulia was beaten up with bats by three assailants on July 3, sustaining serious injuries. | |
