Kyiv, August 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The deadline for applications from television companies wishing to compete for the Teletriumph 2009 Award was July 27, the press service of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council has reported.

This year, applications were received from some 11 national television organizations, including TET, STB, Novy Kanal, Ukraina, ICTV, Studio 1+1, NTKU, Channel 5, Tonis, Megasport, Inter, some 23 regional channels and several individual participants.

The organizational committee is currently considering the documents, then all the submissions will be posted at the award's Web site to be assessed by experts.

Some 160 specialists will be included in the expert collegium.

The award ceremony is to be held on September 4 at the International Center of Culture and Arts (Zhovtnevy Palats).
