Kyiv, August 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian state enterprise Zorya-Mashproekt (Mykolaiv) will supply energy equipment for the IGAT-7 gas pipeline, which is being built by Iran, the company's press service has told Interfax-Ukraine. Gas from the South Pars field will be supplied through the gas pipeline to the southern regions of Iran and Pakistan. Recently, the Ukrainian company supplied Iran with a first consignment of equipment, including four DU-80 gas turbine engines with a power of 25MW each for gas pumping appliances at IGAT-7 compressor stations. The equipment was supplied under a contract signed in 2007 that foresees the supply of eight DU-80 engines. The second consignment should be supplied in September. Zorya-Mashproekt has been operating on the market of energy equipment for over 10 years. According to the Ukrainian company, a total of 32 engines produced by Zorya-Mashproekt are currently operated in Iran. Zorya-Mashproekt is the developer and producer of gas turbine equipment. It is well known around the world. It is a monopolist on the CIS market in the sphere of the development and production of gas turbines for naval vessels. | |
