Kyiv, August 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has signed a law on the ratification of a loan agreement for the Roads and Safety Improvement Project between Ukraine and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).

Interfax-Ukraine learned this at the press service of the State Service of Automobile Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor).

As reported, Ukraine and the World Bank signed on April 21 an agreement on the provision of $400 million to Ukraine for the reconstruction of the Boryspil-Lubny part of the Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky highway.

On July 16, the Verkhovna Rada ratified the loan agreement under the Roads and Safety Improvement Project between Ukraine and the IBRD, which is an institution of the World Bank Group.
