Kyiv, July 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko plans to meet with the depositors of Kyiv-based Rodovid Bank, which is currently undergoing recapitalization with government funds, the bank's press service reported on Monday.

"At 1200 on July 31... a meeting of the bank's depositors with Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko is to take place. The position of the Ukrainian government on the return of deposits to Rodovid Bank's clients is to be made public," reads the report.

The report says that the meeting will be held at the International Exhibition Center at 15, Borvarskoy Avenue.

"The government has become the owner of Rodovid Bank, which is confirmed by the state's trust in the bank. Rodovid Bank's recapitalization means that from now on, the bank is getting a chance to tightly cooperate with state structures in the realization of state programs. The status of a state bank gives greater guarantees to the bank's clients and partners regarding the protection of their interests," reads the report.
