Kyiv, August 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers will take a decision at a meeting on Wednesday to buy out unfinished apartment blocks worth a total of UAH 73.5 million for their further transfer to people entitled to benefits, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has said.

"We're launching a large-scale program worth a total of UAH 2 billion," she said while opening a government meeting on Wednesday.

Tymoshenko said that these funds had already been accumulated at the State Mortgage Institution.

She said that the first objects included incomplete buildings in Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, and Bobrovytsia (Chernihiv region).

Tymoshenko said that objects in the first three cities would be bought at UAH 3,200 or $415 per square meter, whereas in the last one, housing would be bought at UAH 2,950 or $383 per square meter.
