Kyiv, July 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian government has canceled a requirement for the obligatory cleaning of vacant wagons and containers used for food transportation, Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko has said. "We canceled the requirement, which will allow farmers to save a lot of money and simplify the shipment of farming products by rail," she told the press after a cabinet meeting on Wednesday. The premier said that large fees were charged for cleansing, although in fact, some wagons were not actually cleaned. As reported, the obligatory cleaning of wagons and containers before grain loading is foreseen in a decree of the Ukrainian Transport and Communications Ministry of April 13, 2005.
