Kyiv, July 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine intends to hold talks with the foreign creditors of national gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy about restructuring the company's debts, Acting Finance Minister Ihor Umansky has said.

"I think that it is necessary to start talks. We'll see how they end," he told reporters on Wednesday, when asked whether talks on restructuring Naftogaz's debts would be held.

Asked when the talks actually will start, Umanstky said: "We're starting them."

At the same time, the acting minister noted that Ukraine's law on the state budget envisages "the possibility to review the conditions of cooperation with those creditors that had connections with Naftogaz as of January 1 this year."
