Kyiv, August 3 (Interfax) - Ukrnafta, one of the largest oil producers in Ukraine, increased sales of oil with gas condensate by 7% to 1,467,800 tonnes in the first half of 2009 compared to the same period of 2008, the company said in a statement.

Sales of liquefied gas increased 4.1% to 92,200 tonnes, while sales of light distillate (stable natural gasoline) edged down 0.6% to 126,300 tonnes in the six months.

Ukrnafta produced 1,443,500 tonnes of oil and gas condensate in the period, 6.1% less year-on-year. Gas production was down 2% to 1.530 billion cubic meters. Production of liquefied gas declined 0.4% to 92,600 tonnes, although output of light distillate rose 1.3% to 128,000 tonnes.

Naftogaz Ukrainy owns 50% plus one share in Ukrnafta. A group of companies affiliated with shareholders in PrivatBank has about 42%.
