Kyiv, August 5 (Interfax) - Ukraine has redeemed $500 million in Eurobonds issued in 2004, Ihor Umansky, the acting finance minister, told Interfax.

"The overall payment was about $512 million," he said.

Ukraine placed the five-year bonds, maturing on August 5, at a floating rate at Libor+337.5 basis points with semi-annual coupons due on February 5 and August 5 in each of the five years.
