Kyiv, July 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine's government is expecting to receive $3.3 billion of the third tranche under the by the Stand-By Arrangement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) by the end of the week, Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko has said. "According to our estimate, Ukraine's budget will receive these financial resources by the end of the week at the best," the premier said while opening the government's meeting in Kyiv on Wednesday. The annual interest rate will be 4%, Tymoshenko said The premier added that part of these funds would be used to pay off the state debt. As reported, the IMF Executive Board approved on Tuesday the release of the third tranche under the Stand-By Arrangement with Ukraine equivalent to SDR 2.12 billion (about $3.3 billion). | |
