Kyiv, August 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Sozidatel scientific and production union (Dnipropetrovsk) is planning in September 2009 to restart the construction of a 17-storey residential complex with four sections with a total area of 8,504 square meters on Shtabny Lane in Dnipropetrovsk, the company's press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the press service, the company has sold four of 81 flats with a total area of 5,692 square meters. The area of commercial premises in the complex will be 348 square meters.

"The complex is currently 20% complete. We are planning to complete construction next year," the press service said.

The company also said it does not plan to commission more objects by the end of this year.

According to the company, since early 2009 prices for primary housing in U.S. dollars in Dnipropetrovsk have fallen by almost 50%, while the prices in the hryvnia fell by 10-15% depending on the property.

Sozidatel is one of the largest construction companies in Dnipropetrovsk region, created in 1987. In 2008, the company commissioned four residential buildings.
