Kyiv, August 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Odesa-based Soyuz Corporation has been announced the winner of a tender of Zaporizhia-based OJSC Dniproenergo, an electricity generating company, on the technical re-equipment of power unit three of Kryvy Rih thermal power plant in part of electrostatic cleaner upgrade.

A posting on the Web site of the Economy Minsitry says that the value of the agreement signed by the companies on July 20 came to UAH 387.286 million (VAT inclusive).

Dniproenergo runs the Prydniprovska, Kryvy Rih, and Zaporizhia thermal power plants, which have a total capacity of 8,185 MW (25 energy generators).

The company said that the state, via the Energy Company of Ukraine, owns a 50% plus one share stake in the company, and its largest other shareholder is Cyprus-based DTEK Holdings Limited (47.46%).

Soyuz Corporation unites designing, commercial, industrial and service organizations. It has representative offices in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
