Kyiv, July 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian Defense Ministry and State Property Fund will put on sale 51 objects belonging to the ministry, Acting Head of the SPF Dmytro Parfenenko and Acting Defense Minister Valeriy Ivaschenko announced in Kyiv on Thursday.

According to Ivaschenko, the ministry has too much property.

Apart from that, the ministry's budget for 2009 stipulates special fund totaling UAH 3.6 billion that must be filled through property sales by the ministry.

Ivaschenko explained that the cabinet has instructed officials to prepare a plan for selling military property, and today some 51 objects are ready to be sold.

He added that all information regarding the sale of the property would be posted on the official Web sites of the ministries affected.

There are over 4,000 military objects that could be sold.
