Kyiv, July 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Serhiy Dorotych, who earlier held the rank of first deputy head of the State Committee of Ukraine for Technical Regulation and Consumer Policy, has been appointed first deputy regional development and building minister, according to the ministry's press service, referring to cabinet resolution No. 807-r of July 29, 2009.

Dorotych, like his predecessor Oleksiy Ischenko, will be in charge of regional development issues.

Ischenko was dismissed from the post at his personal request under cabinet resolution No. 213-r of February 25, 2008.
