Kyiv, August 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Rosan-Invest (Lviv), part of the ROSAN financial and industrial group, is planning in 2010 to start the construction of the number of residential buildings in Lviv and Lviv region, the company has told Interfax-Ukraine.

"We plan to start the construction of new buildings next year. In particular, we plan to start the construction of sport infrastructure while preparing the city of Lviv for the European Football Championship Euro 2012, and residential buildings, implementing a program of payment by installments. According to the company, demand for residential real estate is expected to start growing next year.

The company said Rosan-Invest, in particular, is viewing the possibility of starting the construction of housing in elite suburban areas around Lviv and affordable housing in the city and around it.

"Rosan-Invest is currently in talks on creating a pilot project on the construction of affordable housing in Lviv and the surrounding area," the company said.

Rosan-Invest was created in 2006. It is part of ROSAN financial and industrial group the enterprises of which have been operating in Ukraine since 1992 in the financial and investment, transport and logistics, and tourism spheres.
