Oreanda, a four-star hotel based in Yalta (Crimea), ended 2006 with a losses of UAH 5.2 million.

This reads the report of the hotel, the text of which Ukrainian News has obtained.

According to the report, in 2006 Oreanda reduced its losses by 15.3% or UAH 0.94 million to UAH 5.2 million, compared to 2005.

As Ukrainian Mews early reported, Oreanda finished 2005 with losses of UAH 6.14 million, having increased its net revenues by 6% or UAH 1.56 million compared with 2004, to UAH 27.46 million.

Oreanda was registered in the form of closed joint stock company in 1999.

The hotel has 114 rooms, including 5 apartments, 14 luxury suites, and 21 semi-luxury suites.

According to data of the Agency for Development of the Stock Market's Infrastructure by late 2005, 64.58% shares in the hotel belonged to the Swiss company IWENTA S.A., and 18.04% to the SPF.
