Moscow, July 29 (Interfax) - Russia has increased the oil export duty to $222 per tonne effective August 1 under a resolution signed by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on July 27.

The export duty had been $212.6 per tonne from July 1.

The average price of Russian oil in the June 15-July 14 monitoring period used to calculate the export duty was $65.65142 per barrel.

The export duty on refined product will increase to $161.9 per tonne on August 1 for light oil products (from $155.5 per tonne effective July 1) and to $87.2 per tonne for heavy oil products ($83.8).
