Kyiv, July 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Nine companies have applied to take part in a tender to sell the state stake in the OJSC Odesa Port-Side Plant, acting head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Dmytro Parfenenko has said.

"We already have nine applications from potential buyers," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday.

According to the tender procedure, the names of the companies cannot be disclosed, Parfenenko said.

He also noted that the tender is scheduled for September 29 and the deadline for the applications is September 21.

"The presence of industry heavyweights gives us grounds to believe that we will get around UAH 6-7 billion," Parfenenko said adding that the starting price will be UAH 4 billion.
