Kyiv, July 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The board of National JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy has decided to create subsidiary company, Naftogaz Merezhi (Naftogaz Networks), to manage the state gas distribution networks currently operated by city and regional gas companies, a source in the company has told Interfax-Ukraine.

"Naftogaz's board has decided to create a subsidiary, Naftogaz Merezhi, to manage state gas distribution networks currently operated by city and regional gas companies," the source said.

The agency's source said that corresponding documents have been submitted to the Fuel and Energy Ministry of Ukraine for approval.

As reported, on July 30 the Cabinet of Ministers posted its resolution No. 775 of June 10 in the Uriadovy Kurier newspaper. According to the document, the state gas distribution pipelines of 42 regional gas supply companies are to be transferred to the balance sheet of a daughter company of National JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy.
