Kyiv, July 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The State Commission on Securities and the Stock Market of Ukraine has registered an additional issue of shares worth UAH 18.6 billion by National JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy and bonds worth UAH 1.62 billion by Kharkiv State Aircraft Manufacturing Company (KSAMC), Serhiy Petrashko, the commission board chairman, has told Interfax-Ukraine. As reported, in July the cabinet decided to increase Naftogaz's statutory capital, which is currently UAH 5.565 billion, by UAH 18.6 billion, and exchange its shares for government domestic loan bonds. According to the presidential secretariat, such a deal should be formalized through amending the law on the 2009 national budget. In addition, to solve the problems of Kharkiv State Aircraft Manufacturing Company and the Kyiv-based Aviant plant, the cabinet approved an issue of bonds worth UAH 2.478 billion. The cabinet resolution of July contains a clear distribution procedure for proceeds from the bonds for each company to pay off debts to banks and complete aircraft: UAH 515 million and UAH 343 million for Aviant respectively and UAH 1.237 billion and UAH 383 million for KSAMC. | |
