Kyiv, August 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Lviv City Council has sold some 630,000 square meters of residential housing at 11 Torhova Street for more than UAH 5 million at an auction, the press service of the council has reported.

According to the statement, the starting price of the lot was UAH 2,051,784. Officials said that the buyer plans to open a hotel or a business center in the building.

Apart from that, the new owner plans to finish all of the repair work no later than 30 months after the building's purchase.

The building was first put in operation in 1880.
