Kyiv, July 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kyivsky Media Holding has decided not to purchase the Kyiv Post newspaper and Afisha magazine, the Khreschatyk newspaper reported on Friday.

Talks between the KMH and KP Media publishing holding lasted for several months and ended with KMH dropping its plans to buy the Kyiv Post because of its unsatisfactory financial indicators.

Apart from that, the KMH rejected the KP Media's offer to sell it the Kyiv Post with the Afisha magazine as a bonus.

The KMH has considered several mass media projects in 2008-2009, many of which closed after the holding decided against purchasing them.
