Kyiv, August 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The shareholders of CJSC Kyiv Shipyard at a general meeting scheduled for August 7 will view the issue of passing the company's property as a collateral to one of its creditors to provide for the fulfillment of the debtor's credit obligations, according to the company.

The stockholders will also hear the board's report for 2008, and review the issues of recalling and appointing the board members and changing the company statute.

The company did not clarify the details of the procedure and the sum of the company's credit indebtedness.

According to the State Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, over 2008 CJSC Kyiv Shipyard saw its net loss rise by 44.4% compared to 2007, to UAH 1.24 million, its net income fell by 23.4%, to UAH 31.54 million.

CJSC Kyiv Shipyard is part of AvtoKrAZ holding company.
