Kyiv, July 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) –CJSC Joint Ukrainian-Dutch enterprise Krebo (Kremenchuk, Poltava region) plans to challenge in court reports of the alleged illegal seizure of property in Kyiv-based Boryspil international state airport made by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), reads a Krebo press release issued on Wednesday.

"CJSC Krebo has draft an appeal against the SBU on protection of its business reputation from harm from the release of false information on the official Web site of the SBU," reads the report.

The press secretary of Krebo, Petro Pasichnyk, said that the company also plans to claim for damages stemming from searches of its offices in Kremenchuk and Boryspil.

He did not disclose when the appeal would be submitted to the courts.

As reported, on July 23, the SBU posted a report on its Web site saying that it had uncovered evidence of the embezzlement of strategic property at Boryspil International Airport, which may threaten supplies of fuel for planes.

According to the SBU press service, as a result of illegal deals by Krebo and its subsidiaries, Boryspil airport has lost ownership rights to 26 facilities from the airport's centralized plane fueling system.

These property transfers were conducted with participation of state officials and a private notary from Kremenchuk.

After that the property was transferred through 17 commercial structures and ended up owned by an offshore company in Cyprus.

According to preliminary calculations, the state has lost UAH 30 million from these deals, the report said.
